I. McNab writes: Bill Harrison first worked in the Benbow practice in Leicestershire. After a short stay, he moved to Southampton to join the practice run by George Gould. Initially, he was slightly taken aback by being instructed on the diagnosis and treatment he was to administer to each case, the principal having first reconnoitred them all earlier in the day. Nevertheless, he found the experience he gained invaluable.
