Statue stands to a lifetime's achievement

A LIFE-SIZE bronze statue of Sefton, the Household Cavalry horse seriously injured in the Hyde Park bombing in July 1982, has been unveiled at the Royal Veterinary College's (RVC's) Hawkshead campus.

The statue is situated outside the RVC's Teaching and Research Centre, on an area that used to be within the Sefton Equine Hospital, which has been relocated to a new Equine Referral Hospital on the campus.
