FSA outlines measures to stamp out Campylobacter in UK poultry

ERADICATING Campylobacter from UK poultry was at the top of the Food Standards Agency's (FSA) agenda, as it released a new strategy to combat the infection.

Following an increase in the prevalence of the bacterium in UK-produced chicken in the past decade, the FSA published a series of recommendations focusing on ways that the industry and government can work together to reduce infection rates.
