AMONG matters discussed at the May 7 meeting of the RCVS Veterinary Nurses Council (VNC) were proposed changes to the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, intended to allow those at general practice and hospital level to progress their accreditation. The new format would build on the current mandatory requirements with additional optional standards, which would result in a grade (bronze, silver or gold) depending on the percentage of the additional standards met.
