Consultation raises concerns about plans for surveillance

A RECENT AHVLA consultation on the future delivery of scanning surveillance in England and Wales attracted more than 370 responses. A summary of the responses was published on the AHVLA's website on May 17, and they are now being considered by the AHVLA's ‘Surveillance 2014’ project team, which is drawing up a plan for how surveillance should be organised in future.

The consultation ran from December 13, 2012, to February 15 this year. An online questionnaire attracted 113 responses and 43 responses were received in writing. In addition, 10 facilitated workshops organised by the AHVLA in different parts of the country attracted 221 people from 119 organisations.
