THE RCVS Disciplinary Committee has dismissed a case against a veterinary surgeon who was alleged to have been dishonest in claims made against insurance following a dog's veterinary treatment.
On April 11, at the end of a four-day hearing, the committee found Sheena Brimelow, who was formerly employed by the Kinver Veterinary Practice in Kinver, Stourbridge, not guilty of charges relating to seven insurance claims submitted between January 1, 2008 and October 1, 2009. The claims related to her parents' dog, which she had treated at her then employer's practice.
