The ‘Be Lungworm Aware’ campaign is part of Lungworm Awareness Month and urges owners to be extra vigilant for signs of lungworm from March onwards. Survey seeks horse owners

Horse owners are being asked to take part in a survey commissioned by the National Fallen Stock Company (NFSCo)to find out if they have considered options for the disposal of their horse should it die or be euthanased. NFSCo says that there appears to be confusion among horse owners about the options available for having their horse euthanased and for disposing of the body afterwards. The survey, which can be completed at, asks about the options that horse owners have used or those they would choose to use. It is open to all owners regardless of whether they have had a horse euthanased.
