Reunion for the first Bristol graduates

SOME of the first veterinary students to graduate from Bristol university returned to the School of Veterinary Sciences on July 3 for a reunion to mark their graduation.

The group of students, selected on the basis of their academic qualifications and through interview, embarked on the new veterinary course at the university in 1949. The course had been established in response to the Loveday committee's report on veterinary education.
