THE value of embedding learning about global and development issues into the veterinary curriculum was discussed at symposium at the Royal Veterinary College on November 27. The ‘Veterinary Students as Global Citizens’ symposium marked the end of a the three-year ‘Students as Global Citizens’ project, which had been a joint undertaking by the RVC, the Institute of Education, University College London (UCL) Medical School and the UCL School of Pharmacy. It was coordinated by the London International Development Centre.
