Drop-in ID scheme for horses

AN initiative to help combat fly grazing and the abandonment of horses was launched on October 6, with a passport and microchipping day being held in Black Park, Slough, Buckinghamshire. The scheme had been suggested by World Horse Welfare field officer, Nick White, to Buckinghamshire County Council, with the aim of addressing the problem of unidentified horses straying onto local roads.
