It is almost a year since the Animal Health and Welfare Board for England (AHWBE) met for the first time. Set up following recommendations made by the independent advisory group on responsibility and cost sharing chaired by Rosemary Radcliffe, the board is responsible for strategic animal health and welfare policy in England and oversight of its delivery.
