New appointments at Defra

Statistics from

DAVID Cameron's Cabinet reshuffle last week resulted in a change of ministers at Defra. Owen Paterson has been appointed as the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, replacing Caroline Spelman, and David Heath takes over from Jim Paice as farming minister. Lord de Mauley has replaced Lord Taylor of Holbeach as under-secretary of state in the House of Lords.
