Tackling a ‘growing horse crisis’
WITH equine welfare organisations ‘full to bursting’ and struggling to cope with increasing numbers of neglected and unwanted horses, members of the National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC) met recently to discuss the increasing problems and how best to tackle them.
Speakers from the Redwings Horse Sanctuary, the RSPCA and World Horse Welfare described how they are trying to cope with ‘the growing horse crisis’.
