TO engage the veterinary team three key points need to be considered: leadership, performance management and team effectiveness. So says Pfizer Animal Health on the basis of a survey of veterinary practices undertaken by its practice management advisory consultancy Vet Support+.
More than 4000 responses were received to the employee engagement survey, with over 700 practice owners, partners and practice managers responding together with almost 3500 veterinary practice employees. The results were then analysed and modelled by an independent expert with the Vet Support+ team, and led to the identification of the three drivers for an actively engaged veterinary team.
