THE Badger Trust has notified Defra of its intention to pursue a legal challenge against Defra's decision to cull badgers as part of its package of measures to tackle bovine TB.
The trust announced on February 9 that it had written to Defra to outline its grounds for the challenge, giving the department until February 17 to respond.
