THE Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) makes some very helpful comments with reference to medicinal waste (VR, January 7, 2012, vol 170, p 28). Any advice to help clarify this endlessly complex subject is to be welcomed by practitioners snowed under with regulation.
