AMENDED rules on cattle movements and changes to the compensation arrangements for bovine TB will be introduced in England from July 1, Defra has announced.
Defra's intention to strengthen the controls on cattle was announced in July last year, as part of a package of measures to tackle bovine TB (VR, July 23, 2011, vol 169, p 85). The changes that will come into force on July 1 this year include:
