Last post-Chernobyl sheep controls to be removed

MORE than 25 years after the Chernobyl nuclear accident in the Soviet Union, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has agreed to remove the last remaining ‘mark and release’ controls on sheep in the UK that were put in place to protect consumers from the fallout.
