Strengthening links in Scotland and Wales

June was a busy month for the BVA's officers, with key meetings being held around the annual Scottish and Welsh dinners.

AT a meeting with NFU Scotland, BVA Officers and BVA Scottish Branch Officers discussed closer working on a number of animal health issues, including bovine viral diarrhoea, sheep and cattle scab, and veterinary surveillance. These subjects were also on the agenda for a meeting with the Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) and Deputy CVO for Scotland, alongside responsibility and cost sharing and the employment of OVs.
