‘Huge opportunity’ for vets to assess their sales of non-prescription products

ONLY 15 per cent of flea and worming treatments are now being purchased from veterinary practices, according to a survey conducted by the animal health advertising agency TMA.

The survey, which was commissioned by the agency on behalf of Merck Animal Health, used an online questionnaire of cat and dog owners to determine who they turned to for advice when their pet was ill and where they bought treatments.
