Laboratories testing for CEMO, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa

The following laboratories have been approved by the Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) for the year December 2011 to November 2012 for testing for Taylorella equigenitalis (CEMO), Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in equine samples. The HBLB Codes of Practice on CEM, K pneumoniae and P aeruginosa advise that swabs taken from mares, stallions and teasers should be sent to an approved laboratory for testing
