IN tribute to Lewis Jessop (VR, May 21, 2011, vol 168, p 540), Bill Petheram writes: Lewis Jessop, known to many of us as LJ, died on April 26, after suffering for some time with cancer. LJ was born in 1927 and was raised in Cardiff, sadly losing his father early in life. His father, a Royal Naval officer, was killed when HMS Courageous was sunk by a German U-boat at the beginning of the Second World War.
