A NEW, purpose-built, £60 million centre to house researchers from the Roslin Institute and the Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) was officially opened on June 29 at the University of Edinburgh's Easter Bush campus.

Five hundred scientists will work in the new building, where their research will be aimed at improving the health and welfare of livestock and the sustainability of the livestock sector.
