Survey suggests decline in pet vaccination levels

Statistics from

ALMOST half of the owners of unvaccinated pets cited cost as a reason for not vaccinating their animal in the past year, a recent survey has found.

The survey, conducted on behalf of Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health in advance of National Vaccination Month in May, found that just under one-third of the 868 pet owners questioned had pets that had never been vaccinated or whose vaccinations had lapsed.
