THE Kennel Club's Dog Health Group has published its first annual report, which summarises some of its achievements in 2010.
The group was created in its current form early last year. Its remit is to develop strategy for the Kennel Club's health work and to coordinate and monitor such work. It also supervises the club's ‘fit for function: fit for life’ and other public campaigns and is responsible for recommending the requirements for health schemes, the Kennel Club's accredited breeder scheme and other breeding strategies.
