Acute fasciolosis causes losses across England and Wales


  • Widespread acute fasciolosis causing losses in sheep and camelids

  • Outbreaks of suspected winter dysentery in cattle

  • Mycobacterium bovis infection causing respiratory distress in a calf

  • Increase in cases of ruminal acidosis in lambs caused by poor feed management

  • Salmonellosis in pigs caused by Salmonella Typhimurium PT193 and PT208
