CORRECTION
Use of lithium carbonate in the treatment of a suspected case of oestrogen-induced bone marrow aplasia in a bitch by F. de Oliveira Conrado, B. de Ávila Rodrigues, L. de Almeida Lacerda, C. Serina Lasta, V. Sinnott Esteves, F. H. Díaz GonzÁlez (VR, February 28, 2009, vol 164, pp 274-275). The article states: ‘Hall (1992) described a case of canine bone marrow aplasia in which lithium therapy was unsuccessful and the dog died.’ In fact, the dog recovered. The error is regretted.
