The heading ‘Goose parvovirus: cases confirmed in Great Britain’ on the cover of The Veterinary Record of October 11 was incorrect. It referred to a letter describing six cases in England in which infection with goose parvovirus was suspected on the basis of the history, clinical, pathological and laboratory findings but not yet confirmed by virus isolation (VR, October 11, 2008, vol 163, p 461). The error is regretted.
