Correction

Evaluation of a commercially available apparatus for measuring the acute phase protein serum amyloid A in horses by S. Jacobsen, M. Kjelgaard-Hansen (VR, September 13, 2008, vol 163, pp 327-330). Errors are regretted in the plotting of points in Figs 1, 3. The correct figures are reproduced below.

FIG 1

Concentrations of serum amyloid A (SAA) measured by the Equinostic assay in dilutions of a pool of horse serum containing a high concentration of SAA. Dotted lines show the 95 per cent confidence interval of the regression line

FIG 3

Comparison of serum amyloid A (SAA) concentrations measured by the Equinostic assay and by a validated assay (LZ test SAA; EIKEN Chemical) for SAA in horses. Deming's regression line (slope 0·76, 95 per cent confidence interval 0·70 to 0·83) (solid line) was significantly below the line of agreement (Y=X) (dashed line)
