RCVS opts to support total ban on non-therapeutic docking of dogs’ tails


  • No dogs should be exempted from any government ban on tail docking – but the situation should be reviewed after five years

  • Lay monitoring of anaesthesia: no change for the time being

  • Revised guidance to reflect changes in medicines legislation
