Abstract

Nine fractures of the distal femur in eight cats were repaired by using a 2-4 mm Rush pin as an intramedullary nail, placed between the condyles via a lateral or medial parapatellar approach to the stifle joint. In all cases the fractures were reduced and stabilised accurately with good postoperative results.
