Veterinary Record is the official journal of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and has been published weekly since 1888. It contains news, comment, letters and clinical research papers on a wide range of veterinary topics. Its classified advertisement section includes an extensive list of veterinary and veterinary-related jobs.
It is published on behalf of the BVA by BMJ. The BVA grants editorial freedom to the Editor of Veterinary Record. The views expressed in the journal are those of the authors and may not necessarily comply with BVA policy.
